Rubén Bosch

We warmly welcome Rubén Bosch, who joins i3M’s MRILab in the scope of the Garantía Juvenil program. Rubén received the title of technician in avionics maintenance in integrated public center of FP of Cheste. He did his undergraduate in Industrial Electronics and Automation in Florida Universitaria (Valencia). He is currently finishing a Master in construction and applications of unmanned aerial systems. His hobbies are 3D printers, drones and calisthenics. Rubén will work on control electronics in the scope of the HISTO-MRI Project.

Welcome Pepe Borreguero

Pepe Borreguero

We warmly welcome Pepe Borreguero, who joins i3M’sMRILab in the scope of the Garantía Juvenil program. Pepe did his undergraduate in Physics at the University of Valencia, with a specialization in Theoretical Physics . After that he did a Master in Advanced Physics oriented to Particle Physics and Quantum Field Theory. Pepe will work on sequence design and image reconstruction in the scope of the HISTO-MRI Project.

Welcome Dr. Fernando Galve

Fernando Galve

We warmly welcome Dr. Fernando Galve, the new Senior Scientist at i3M’s MRILab.Fernando did his undergraduate studies at the University of Valencia, and completed his PhD in experimental atomic physics with Prof. G. Werth at the University of Mainz. He did two postdocs in quantum information and open systems with Prof. P. Hänggi at the University of Augsburg, and with Prof. R. Zambrini at the University of the Balearic Islands, where he led his own research lines as PI of a project funded by the Spanish Ministry. His CV can be found here

Welcome Dr. Joseba Alonso

Joseba Alonso

We warmly welcome Dr. Joseba Alonso, recently appointed Group Leader of the MRILab, and Scientific Coordinator of the HISTO-MRI Project. Joseba did his undergraduate studies at the University of Valencia, and completed his PhD in experimental atomic physics with Prof. Günther Werth and Prof. Klaus Blaum at the University of Mainz. After a few years in a private consultancy, he joined the trapped-ion quantum information group of Jonathan Home at ETH-Zurich as a postdoc and, later, as a senior scientist. HISTO-MRI Project – First year review

The HISTO-MRI Project has successfully completed its first year of development. The Consortium has finalized the definition of the requirements and the design of the different systems of the demonstrator.

The project is progressing according to its work plan, as defined in the proposal approved by the European Commission, as reported in the review meeting with the EC in Brussels on February.
